I mainly talk about the nature of some puzzles, without providing actualy solutions.Despite the claims on the store page, this isn't much of a hacking game. Sure, there's a terminal window that you type commands into, but in general, this is more of a test of your google-fu skills than anything. Even that isn't particularily hard, since half of the computers are "hacked" by skimming through some emails, figuring out what whacky "encoding" is used for that particular password, and looking up an online converter.The other half involves some rather odd puzzles. On a couple of occasions you are required to navigate a robot through a "maze" consisting of a single corridor with no alternative routes. This is done by typing in commands in the console using a somewhat inconsistent metasyntax, and having the robot execute them in order. Actually, there are inconsistencies all over Mu Complex. There are two puzzles that look virtually identical. The first one is solved with some quick math, the other one isn't.Oh, and there is one puzzle that requires you to sign up for a free trial for a newspaper archive, which in turn requires you to provide your credit card details. If you don't have a credit card, or have already used up the trial period in the past, you are pretty much screwed. The only option here is to look up a walkthrough that straight up tells you the password. Good luck with that.. Great game, I liked navigating through the puzzles. Passwords throughout the game vary in difficulty and keep it interesting. R8 8/8. Very fun if you like to code. :). This is a very capturing and immersive game.The mechanics are solid and easy to learn, and the story is highly captivating and creative. I launched it to give it a try on one of my lunch breaks at work, and stayed over-time just cuz I couldn't leave it (literally). When I had to leave, I made sure I completed it when I reached home. The story is that captivating.The puzzles are great too and solving them is satisfying. Awesome achievements too.I greatly recommend this game for anyone from casual to hardcore gamers. It's a must play in my opinion.. A neat little indie puzzle game that is kind of a combination of Portal and Uplink.
