About This Game Please Note: that not every piece of interface text has been translated. Around 85 percent has been translated. Please Note: that Northern Regime is in Early Access, it will include bugs, errors, and a lack of content compared to the full version. WE ASK THAT THE REASON YOU BUY NORTHERN REGIME IS TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND NOT TO PLAY A WELL ROUNDED GAMENorthern Regime: 1862 is a hardcore survival game set against the backdrop of the American Civil War, in the frozen and frigid landscape of Northern Dakota. It’s you against the environment and all its inherent dangers as you tackle Confederate soldiers, aggressive wildlife and cold itself to keep yourself alive. HARDCORE SANDBOX SURVIVAL Hunger in Northern Regime is an important aspect in the wild. You can find food and water in enemy camps which is sometimes a rarity, as well, it is very risky. The most common way to maintain an appropriate hunger level is by hunting with your trusty rifle. Killing deer will give you in between 1-3 pieces of meat. The difficult part is not exerting too much energy. The more energy you waste by running and firing your rifle will cause increased hunger. If you fail to kill a buck you've been hunting for could cause death. Hunting and hunger will require a unique strategy for your survival. REAL-WORLD ENVIRONMENTUsing real-world geographical data, we have developed a living, breathing representation of the Fargo region of North Dakota for you to explore. Be careful not to get sucked in by the environment’s beauty, though, as danger lurks around every corner. CONSTANT DANGER! In addition to sustaining yourself with food and water, you’ll have to keep your wits about you to fend off the attention of bears, Confederate soldiers and later on in development, many more potential aggressors. You’ll need to craft weapons and ammunition to repel these threats where necessary! Trading and Coercing is Planned but not officially in Nothern Regime CRAFT, TRADE & COERCE Northern Dakota is filled with NPCs who will react to you in a specific way based on your reputation. You’ll need to increase your standings with individual factions through crafting and trading with them in order to bring them round to your way of thinking! With travelers, traders and refugees wandering the environment and numerous settlements to find, you’ll have ample opportunities to make friends…or enemies. 1075eedd30 Title: Northern RegimeGenre: Action, Adventure, Casual, Indie, Simulation, Strategy, Early AccessDeveloper:Axel AndersonPublisher:Axel AndersonRelease Date: 17 Feb, 2017 Northern Regime Ativador Download [License] I rate this game 9\/10.The reasoning behind the rating is as follows. The basis of the game is great. Spawn at your camp with some basic survival things such as food and a firepit. Next you go out find iron, sulfur, nails and food, for your basic crafting needs. I have not tried yet but there is buiding in this game too. You have to kill deer for food and survive bears who litter the landscpae. Find Confederate Camps ( I have found 4 so far) even though there is no engaging with them, if you have a weapon out they will shoot you. There is kinda a story base to it, when I started the game there was a thing that said Chapter 1. Also this game runs really smooth th lowest frames I got were 45. Now the reason that is did not get 10\/10. The controls are not on an ingame menu, you click Tips&Controls and it takes you to their website. Even though those tips are very helpful. Also the Level Up system for Intelligence Tokens is kinda hard making you a gather for the 1st hour of the game. So that needs to be easier. Also more needs to be added to crafting but there is still alot as is.Now FUTURE things I wish the developer to add. 1. A trading system where you can trade with soldiers, traders, towns, trapers, or natives with money or materials.2. Adding seasonal change. A 4 season cycle instead of just winter.3. Crops. There is Yarrow but it can be grown. We should have crops just for food or for our animals *winks eye*4. Union Soldiers\/ Forts. So far havent found any blue boys but if there are non please add them. And forts to admit a frontier look and feel to the game.5. Settlements Towns and Cities.6. A Job system for NPCs if added *winks eye again*.7. Keep Up the good work. *claps hands*Check out my youtube to watch videos of the game:www.youtube.com\/c\/DomDowgGaming. It's a cool game with an interesting survival concept.Definately needs plenty of work before it can get released; but somewhat gives the player a general idea on how the game might turn out to be in several months time.Definately worth waiting for if you are into survival - with all the garbage fantasy\/zombie\/apocalypse survivals out there.. this one is one of a kind compared to all those fantasies. Thanks for bringing realistic & historical survival into Steam.. total early access rip off cash grab .. do not buy. Looks like a EA cash grab and run, thats a shame was an interesting take on the survival style game. Seems like there should be some recourse as a consumer, Steam should remove abandoned games from their store. At the very least it I didn't waist to much money on it. :(Abandoned do not buy!!!. Don't let the fact that steam is saying I've only played 0.2 hours deter you. I've played mostly offline but changed that so I could leave a review. Some people have been saying that there is not enough in the game yet, I don't agree with that. Obviously, it isn't a full game but there is still plenty to do and stuff to spend time on. There is resource gathering, building, hunting, fighting, and much more than that. The building is tons of fun and you can easily spend hours making an awesome custom base. There is lot's to be worked on but how it is now is a ton better than most early access games that I've played. The frame rate is amazing compared to other early access games. I get a solid 80+ framerate. The graphics are awesome which is surprising. The movement and character controls are super smooth. I'd say even though it's early access it's really well made. I'm excited for the continued development and have a ton of faith in the development of this game. I will easily give this game my support and recommend that you give it a try.. Walked around a bit. Met 3 NPCs in a camp, Stole all their food. No reaction. Walked away. Found a bloody bear. BEAR. It spotted me and decided to attack. Had no weapon so I walked away. I was not running - I WALKED AWAY. So the bears seems to be bastard sons of some snails or something equally slow. Oh and kited that bear through camp with the 3 guys I mentioned earlier. There was no reaction either. You know - grizzly walks through your camp and you stay still so it won't notice you? Seems legit.Quickly dropping body temperature and food levels.Looks as if the devs just bought an graphic engine and started to play with it. Had no opportunity to test weapons\/tools\/building. It was way too boring to carry on. Still not sure what this poor soldier drags in the huuuuge backpack. Must be worth a lot to him. But a soldier who (presumably) run away and forgot to take his weapon or most basic tools with him? Knowing he will be on his own? :) Devs - to make it look right try the well known trick - player wakes up on some road in the middle of nowhere with nothing but your bare hands and maybe clothes on. Seems more probable than this humam camel of some sort that drags a box with no content on his back. I spotted a destroyed cart in the forest so that would be logical spawn point.Enough tips. Avoid this game. At least for some time.. This game is bad. I played on a lowered resolution for frames. Then after i tried to build a fire i could hardly find wood. I begin to randomly press buttions to find inventory to play fire but the game's unhelpful guide could hardly be read because about half of the damn book was off screen. so i wasnt able to find inventory and died to a bear.
